Should we create a revenue authority?
No. Anybuddy integrates with your community's existing financial procedures, without requiring the creation of a dedicated revenue authority. Our teams work in conjunction with financial services to define the operating mode best suited to your organization.
Is there a need for a public contract?
No. Anybuddy's business model is generally based on a commission charged only when a reservation is made. There is therefore neither compulsory subscription nor initial investment for the community. Depending on your organization and the planned project, an agreement may be sufficient or a specific procedure may be necessary. Our teams support you to identify the most suitable legal framework.
How are payments managed?
Two operating modes are possible. Automatic payment (Stripe Connect): during each reservation, the share due to the community is paid directly into their Stripe account, while the Anybuddy commission is deducted automatically. Collection by the community: the community receives 100% of the revenue and Anybuddy then invoices its service provision according to the agreed terms. We adapt to your accounting and financial procedures.
Should the community open a Stripe account?
Only under the automatic payout model, and this opening is managed by Anybuddy. Opening a Stripe account is quick and meets regulatory obligations (KYC). Our teams support the community in this process and ensure complete configuration.
Are payments secure?
Yes. Payments are processed by Stripe, a global online payment player, PCI DSS certified, used by thousands of public and private organizations. No banking data is stored by Anybuddy.
Do the proceeds pass through Anybuddy's bank account?
No. In the automatic payment model, funds intended for the community are paid directly into their Stripe account. Anybuddy only keeps its commission in accordance with the terms defined with the community.
Is the solution GDPR compliant?
Yes. Anybuddy complies with the requirements of the GDPR and acts as a processor of processing related to the reservation of equipment. A subcontracting contract (DPA) can be signed with each community in order to supervise the processing carried out.
Where is the data hosted?
The data is hosted on secure infrastructures located in France via Scaleway and benefits from security measures that comply with industry standards.
Do user data belong to the community?
The data is used only for the purposes of booking and managing the service. Anybuddy never sells user data and processing is strictly governed by the GDPR and contractual commitments.
Can we connect Anybuddy to our business software?
Yes. Anybuddy can connect to different sports equipment management software via API or through synchronizations tailored to your organization. When this is not possible, other methods of managing availability can be put in place.
Do we need to replace our current software?
No. Anybuddy generally complements the tools already used by the community in order to offer a modern reservation process to users.
Should we change our access control system?
No. If you already have a system (badges, digital codes, connected locks, etc.), we adapt to your installation. If no device is in place, we can also support you in deploying a standalone access control solution.
Can reservations be limited to citizens?
Yes. The community retains control of its equipment and can define its own rules: access reserved for residents, opening to certain audiences, specific slots, pricing conditions or access priorities.
Who sets the prices?
The community. You maintain complete control of prices, slots open for reservation, equipment concerned and rules of use.
Do municipal agents keep control of the platform?
Yes. Municipal teams have an administration space allowing them to manage equipment, slots, prices, reservations and statistics.
Can users share the payment for a sports court?
Yes. Players can pay individually for participation or automatically share the cost of the reservation, simplifying organization and reducing cancellations.
